| Summary | This standard specifies the methods for determining the content of iron, aluminum, manganese, magnesium, nickel, titanium, vanadium, cobalt, copper, chromium, calcium, molybdenum, tantalum, and niobium in cast tungsten carbide powder. This document applies to the determination of the content of these elements in cast tungsten carbide powder, and also to the determination of impurity element content in tungsten carbide powder and tungsten powder. The determination range for iron, aluminum, manganese, magnesium, nickel, titanium, vanadium, cobalt, copper, chromium, and calcium is 0.00050%C0.25%; for molybdenum and niobium, the range is 0.0010%C0.25%; and for tantalum, the range is 0.0020%C0.25%. |
