This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces YC/T 224-2007 "corrugated cardboard for cigarettes". This standard is compared with YC/T 224-2007 except for editorial modifications.
The main technical changes are as follows.
--- Adjusted terms and definitions related content;
--- Cancel the relevant content of carton classification;
--- In the technical requirements. physical indicators cancel the puncture strength, bond strength, thickness, moisture and other indicators, adjust the air box compressive strength,
Indicators such as side pressure strength and burst strength; appearance indicators canceled indicators such as overprint deviation, twisting, box nails, etc.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, inspection methods, and packaging, marking, storage, and transportation requirements for corrugated boxes for cigarettes.
This standard applies to corrugated boxes for the packaging of cigarette products.
