The quarantine and identification method of aphid bud disease
1 Scope
This standard specifies the quarantine and identification methods for aphid blight germs.
This standard applies to aphid blight fungi carried in flower buds, leaf buds and shoots of Rhododendron L. plants.
Quarantine identification.
2 basic information of germs
Scientific name. Seifertiaazaleae (Peck) Partridge and Morgan-Jones
English name. Budblight, Budandtwigblight
Taxonomic status. Fungi, Ascomycota, Asperycota, Erythomycetes, Chaetothyri-
Ales, Herpetrichielaceae.
Route of transmission. The germs mainly remain on the disease buds or overwinter. Infested by the base of bud scales in the leap year and entered the pith, impeding water in the shoots
Convey the buds and shoots wither. Proximity is mainly caused by vector insects such as leafhoppers, bees, etc., and splashes of rain droplets. Long-distance transmission is mainly through the band
Diseased plants spread.
See Appendix A for additional information on aphid blight pathogens.
3 Methodology
The morphological characteristics and ITS gene sequence alignment characteristics of A. vegetative aphid were used as identification criteria.
