1 Scope
This standard specifies the exports in food sample preparation and liquid chromatography detection methods terephthalic acid (TPA) and isophthalic acid (IPA) residues.

2 Method summary
Canned meat, fish and legumes sample with 0.1% sodium bicarbonate solution and extracted samples of Coke direct ultrasonic degassing, after solid phase extraction (SPE),
Liquid Chromatography - ultraviolet detector, external standard.
3 Reagents and materials
Unless otherwise specified, the reagents were of analytical grade, double distilled water or deionized water to adapt.
3.1 Methanol. HPLC grade.
3.2 glacial acetic acid.
3.3 chloroform.
3.4 sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3).
3.5 sodium bicarbonate solution (0.1%). Weigh 1g of sodium bicarbonate to volume with water to 1L.
3.6 Methanol - water (2,080, volume ratio).
3.7 Methanol - water (40 60, by volume) containing 1% glacial acetic acid. in 400mL methanol (3.1) was added 10mL of water and 600mL of glacial acetic acid.
