1 Scope
This standard specifies the phytosanitary quarantine and identification of Blackwater chestnut Phytophthora pathogen.
This standard applies to Blackwater chestnut Phytophthora host seedlings, cuttings and other plant material and soil and medium chestnut Blackwater pathogen Phytophthora

Li Blackwater Phytophthora [Phytophthoracambivora (Petri) Buisman (1927), synonyms BLepharosporacambiv-
oraPetri, (1917), etc.] belong to the phylum Oomycetes (Oomycota), Oomycetes (Oomycetes), Pythium mesh (PythiaLes), Pythium Branch (Pythia-
ceae), Phytophthora (Phytophthora). The main hazards host roots, stems, causing the trees of a variety of diseases, such as chestnut ink disease (ink
disease), peach root rot (rootrot), Norway maple stem canker (stemcanker) and the like.
