This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
Instead of the standard SN/T 1526-2005 "Babesiosis equi Detection. Trace complement fixation test methods."
This standard compared with SN/T 1526-2005, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Increased horse piroplasmosis blood smear;
--- Increasing the indirect fluorescent antibody test;
--- Increasing the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.
This standard is proposed and managed by the National Certification and Accreditation Administration Committee.

This standard specifies the horse piroplasmosis blood smear microscopy, indirect fluorescent antibody test, complement fixation test, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay and other technologies

This standard applies to horse equine piroplasmosis quarantine, diagnosis and serological surveys.
