1 Scope
This standard specifies the calcium, iron, sodium, nickel, silicon, titanium, vanadium coal asphalt.
This standard applies to bituminous coal, calcium, iron, sodium, nickel, silicon, titanium, vanadium, petroleum coke and calcined petroleum coke.
This standard applies only to ash content less than 1% of the sample.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.

After the molten ash, coal tar sample is dissolved in dilute nitric acid, inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry.
5 Reagents and materials
Unless otherwise indicated in the analysis using only recognized as analytical grade reagents and distilled or deionized water or equivalent purity.
5.1 lithium metaborate.
5.2 powdered coke lithium metaborate.
5.3 lithium borate flux. the 66% lithium metaborate (5.1) and 34% powdered lithium tetraborate (5.2) consisting of a mixture.
5.4 nitric acid (ρ, 1.42g/mL).
5.5 10% nitric acid (AR).200mL65% nitric acid (5.4) was diluted with water to 2000mL.
5.6 Blank solution. Weigh 20g ± 0.1g flux into 100mL ~ 200mL platinum dish, placed in 1000 ℃ high temperature furnace melting
