1 Scope

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Staphylococcus aureus Staph.saparophytics A genus of Staphylococcus, Gram-positive, orange or grayish white on blood agar, no hemolysis, negative plasma coagulase, positive for urease, Fermentation of glucose, maltose, sucrose, pine disaccharide, non-fermented lactose and mannose.
