3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Staphylococcus aureus Staph.saparophytics
A genus of Staphylococcus, Gram-positive, orange or grayish white on blood agar, no hemolysis, negative plasma coagulase, positive for urease,
Fermentation of glucose, maltose, sucrose, pine disaccharide, non-fermented lactose and mannose.
4 reagents and materials
4.1 Reagents
Unless otherwise specified, the reagents are analytically pure or biochemical reagents, and the water is sterilized double distilled water, which meets the specifications of the first grade water in GB/T 6682.
4.1.1 0.85% saline.
4.1.2 SCDLP liquid medium (see Appendix A, A.1).
4.1.3 Blood agar plates (see A.2).
4.1.4 Staphylococcus aureus localization chromogenic medium (see A.3)
4.1.5 Tryptone Soy Agar Medium (TSA) (see A.4).
