1 Scope
This standard specifies the mucronatus quarantine authentication methods.
This standard applies to inbound and outbound timber (including logs, lumber, wood packaging and wood chips, etc.) for quarantine and identification with the proposed transfer of the pine wood nematode.

SN/T 1132-2002 quarantine and identification of the pine wood nematode
3 Symbol
Nematode dynamometers. This standard uses DeMan formula, nematodes dynamometers.
DeMan formula surveying parameters are as follows.
N --- Number of specimens;
L --- length (mm or μm, the centerline distance between the head end to the tail end, not including the tip of the tail projection);
Rao --- length/maximum body width;
Chou --- length/length from the head end to the junction of the esophagus and intestines;
Ba --- body length/tail length (long tail refers to the anus or cloacal opening to the end of the length, not including the tip of the tail projection);
Vp --- from the head end to the length of the vulva × 100/body length (%);
T --- former male gonads (testes) end-to-mouth cloaca length × 100/body length (%);
St --- stylet length;
Sp --- spicule length;
M --- length tail tip protrusion.
