Determination of polybrominated diphenyl ethers - Part 3.
Gas chromatography-hydrogen flame ionization detector
1 Scope
This section specifies the determination method of gas chromatography-hydrogen flame ionization detector for polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ethers in electrical and electronic products.
This section applies to the determination of polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ethers in electrical and electronic products.
2 Method summary
The sample was extracted by Soxhlet using toluene as the extraction solvent, and the extract was purified, separated by silica gel column, concentrated, and treated by gas chromatography-hydrogen
Determined by flame ionization detector method and quantified by internal standard method.
3 reagents and materials
3.1 Toluene. chromatographically pure.
3.2 anhydrous sodium sulfate. excellent grade pure.
3.3 Silica gel. For chromatography, 60 mesh to 100 mesh, activated at 360 ° C for 10 h to 12 h, and stored in a desiccator after cooling.
3.4 Concentrated sulfuric acid. excellent grade pure.
3.5 Dichloromethane. chromatographically pure.
3.6 Quartz wool. Wash with methylene chloride or bake at 400 ° C for 4 h.
3.7 Liquid nitrogen. industrial grade.
3.8 Polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs) reference materials. purity greater than 98%.
3.9 PBBs standard solution. accurately weigh 10.0mg PBBs standard (3.8), placed in a 100mL volumetric flask, diluted with toluene
Mix to the scale. The concentration of this solution was 100 mg/L.
3.10 Polybromobiphenylethers PBDEs standard solution. 50 mg/L isooctane solution.
3.11 Internal standard. The purity of decachlorobiphenyl is greater than 98%.
3.12 Standard stock solution of internal standard. accurately weigh the appropriate amount of internal standard (3.11), and prepare a standard storage with concentration of 10mg/mL with toluene.
Preparation.
3.13 Internal standard solution. Take appropriate amount of internal standard standard stock solution and dilute it to the appropriate concentration solution as needed.
3.14 Mixed standard working solution. Take appropriate amount of internal standard solution and PBBs, PBDEs standard solution, dilute toluene as needed according to need
