This part is the first part of SN/T 1791.
This part is based on the relevant provisions of GB 16487.12 "Imported waste plastics for environmental protection control of solid wastes that can be used as raw materials"
SN 0625.1-1997 "Importable waste plastics inspection procedures for polyethylene terephthalate (PET) waste (for trial)" and
SN 0625.2-1997 "Important waste plastics inspection procedures for waste materials, waste of ethylene, styrene, vinyl chloride polymer and other polymers
Materials (Trial) were properly adjusted and revised to combine the two standards into one, adding a “requirements” chapter and health quarantine and animal and plant inspections.
The contents of the epidemic, and according to the characteristics of imported waste plastics, some provisions of other chapters have been enriched.
This section replaces SN 0625.1-1997 and SN 0625.2-1997 from the date of implementation.

1 Scope
This part of SN/T 1791 specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, sampling, inspection and quarantine, and results of imported waste plastics that can be used as raw materials.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions established by GB/T 2035 apply to this part of SN/T 1791.
