Neural shellfish toxins Neurotoxicshelfishpoisons; NSP
The chemical structure of short naked dinoflagellate toxin (brevetoxin) represented after ingestion can produce neurological and gastrointestinal symptoms in the presence of shellfish meat
Marine life toxic substances in general.
3.2
Rat units mouseunit; MU
After weighing 20g mice by intraperitoneal injection of 1mL shellfish extract within 930min minimum required amount of toxins death
A mouse units
3.3
Median mediandata
The value of the variable according to the size of the order of, in the middle position is that the value of the median.
4 Method summary
NSP extracted with ether shellfish toxins, evaporated to dryness under reduced pressure, then 1% Tween -60 saline as a dispersion medium to prepare NSP-
1% Tween -60 saline suspension, the suspension was injected into the abdominal cavity, the mice were observed for survival, calculate its virulence.
