1 Scope
This standard specifies an adjustment sampling method for the physical and chemical quality and appearance quality of metal materials for import and export (excluding iron alloys).
This standard applies to the sampling of metal materials for import and export. Other samples with the same quality characteristics or similar products may be referred to.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
Metal materials of the same specification and specifications produced by the same manufacturer and delivered at the same time, referred to as batches.
3.2
The basic unit to be divided into batches for the purpose of carrying out inspection sampling, according to furnace, piece, branch or ton.
3.3
The number of unit products included in the inspection lot.
3.4
The material used for testing is extracted from the unit product as specified.

Sampling mode modeofsampling
Sampling according to different unit product division methods, according to furnace, piece, branch or ton.

A method of determining whether a batch is received or not by using the sample mean and the sample standard deviation.
