1 Scope
This standard specifies the use of gas chromatography to determine methanol, ethanol, 1-propanol, isopropanol, 1-butanol, 2-butanol in the water phase of the methanol-to-olefin process.

3 Principles of the method
Gas chromatograph is used to analyze and determine oxygen-containing compounds in methanol to olefins water. The water sample to be analyzed is vaporized and split by the chromatograph.
Then, the carrier gas is carried into the chromatographic column, and the oxygen-containing compounds in the water sample to be analyzed are separated through the chromatographic column, and the signal is detected by a hydrogen flame ionization detector.
For detection, the components to be tested in methanol-to-olefins water were qualitatively analyzed according to the retention time of the chromatographic peak, and the external standard method was used for quantification.
4 Reagents and materials
4.1 Gas
4.1.1 High-purity nitrogen. the purity is greater than 99.999%.
4.1.2 High purity hydrogen. the purity is greater than 99.999%.
4.1.3 Zero air. The oxygen content is 19.9%~21.9%.
4.2 Reagents
4.2.1 Methanol, ethanol, 1-propanol, isopropanol, 1-butanol, 2-butanol, 1-pentanol, 1-hexanol, acetaldehyde, propionaldehyde, butyraldehyde, acetone, 2-butanol Ketone, 2-Pentane
Ketone, 2-hexanone, acetic acid, propionic acid, tetrahydrofuran. The purity of the reagents used should be analytical grade or above.
4.2.2 The experimental water complies with the water requirements of GB/T 6682.
