1 Scope
This standard specifies the general technical requirements, packaging performance tests, packaging markings, and packaging for combination packaging intended to contain restricted quantities of dangerous goods.
Requirements for parts use appraisal and test reports.
This standard is applicable to the performance test of the limited number of dangerous goods combination packages and the use appraisal of the limited number of dangerous goods packages.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Dangerous goods in limited quantities
It is possible to reasonably control the weight of each package and the net content of dangerous goods inside to reduce the risk of air transportation.

4 General technical requirements
4.1 Passenger aircraft are allowed to be transported and comply with ICAO Doc 9284 AN/905 (hereinafter referred to as ICAO TI) 3; 4.1 categories, categories and packages

5 Packaging performance test
5.1 Test requirements
5.1.1 Combination packages intended to contain restricted quantities of dangerous goods, including their inner packaging, shall undergo the performance tests specified in this chapter.
5.1.2 The inner layer treatment or coating that needs to be carried out on the package for safety reasons should still maintain its protective performance after the test.
5.1.3 Refer to Table 1 for the qualification requirements for the performance test of the tested sample.

5.2 Preparation of test samples
5.2.1 Contents
5.2.1.1 The liquid contained in the test sample should not be less than 98% of its maximum volume, and the solid contained should not be less than its maximum volume.

--Temperature 20 ℃±2 ℃ and relative humidity 65%RH±2%RH;
--Temperature 27 ℃±2 ℃ and relative humidity 65%RH±2%RH.
5.2.2.2 When plastic packaging and coated packaging are used for the first time, they should be directly loaded with the dangerous goods to be contained for more than 6 months before the test.
Compatibility test.
5.2.3 Special preparation for drop test samples
5.2.3.1 When performing a drop test on the following packages, the temperature of the test sample and its contents shall be reduced to −18 ℃ or lower.
a) Plastic drums;
b) Plastic square bucket;
c) Plastic boxes other than foamed polyethylene boxes;
d) The inner packaging is plastic (except plastic bags) and is intended to contain a combination of solids or articles.
5.2.3.2 The liquid content of the test should be kept liquid, and antifreeze can be added if necessary.
5.2.4 Number of samples

5.3 Drop test
5.3.1 Purpose
This test is used to evaluate the ability of a combination package intended to contain a restricted quantity of dangerous goods to withstand a drop.
5.3.2 Test method

5.4 Stacking test
5.4.1 Purpose
This test is used to evaluate the ability of packages intended to contain restricted quantities of dangerous goods to withstand stacking.
5.4.2 Test method
5.4.2.1 Place the test sample on a horizontal plane, stack the same package with the same total mass on the top surface of the test sample, stack it

5.5 Differential pressure test
5.5.1 Purpose
This test is used to evaluate the ability of the inner packaging to withstand the pressure difference in a combination package intended to contain a restricted quantity of liquid dangerous goods.
Note. Dangerous goods can be packed into inner packagings that do not meet this differential pressure test, but this inner packaging needs to be packed into an auxiliary packaging that meets the requirements of this differential pressure test.
5.5.2 Test method
A hydraulic packaging test machine for dangerous goods or other experimental equipment that can achieve the same effect can be used.
When using a hydraulic dangerous goods packaging testing machine, apply hydraulic pressure continuously and evenly to the inner packaging while opening the exhaust valve to exclude the test samples

5.5.3 Pressure applied
5.5.3.1 The inner packaging of the test sample should be able to withstand the greater of the following two pressures without leakage.
a) Internally generated pressure difference of not less than 95 kPa; for liquids in Category 3 or 6.1 Ⅲ packaging, the internal pressure

b) The pressure related to the vapor pressure of the liquid inside.
5.5.3.2 The pressure related to the vapor pressure of the liquid inside is calculated according to one of the following three methods.
a) The total gauge pressure inside the inner packaging measured at a temperature of 55 ℃ (that is, the vapor pressure of the contained substance and the partial pressure of air or other inert gases)

5.6 Inspection rules
Carry out the test item by item according to the requirements of Chapter 5.If there is a sample that does not meet the specifications in each test, the test is judged as unqualified; if there is one

6 Packaging mark
6.1 The package that has passed the performance test shall be marked on the outer package of the combination package to indicate that the package has passed the performance requirements specified in Chapter 5.

7 Appraisal of package use
7.1 General requirements
7.1.1 The size of the package should be large enough to affix all necessary marks and labels. The markings on the package should be accurate and clear, with three markings

7.1.5 If dangerous goods and other dangerous goods or general goods can have the following dangerous reactions, they should not be loaded with the same restricted quantity of dangerous goods

a) Burning and/or generating considerable heat;
b) Release flammable, toxic or asphyxiating gas;
c) Formation of corrosive substances;
d) The formation of unstable substances;
e) Other dangerous reactions occur.
7.1.6 General liquid dangerous goods should be filled to less than 98% of the total volume of the packaging container. Liquid dangerous goods with a large expansion coefficient should be based on their

7.2 Sampling
7.2.1 Use the same packaging (same raw material, same structure and same process production) and contain the same dangerous goods in restricted quantities

7.3 Identification method

7.3.3 Check whether the selected packaging is compatible with the nature of the restricted quantity of dangerous goods. Check the dangerous goods and the packaging in contact with them,

7.4 Inspection rules
According to the requirements of this chapter, the appraisal is carried out item by item. If each item has a package that does not meet the specifications, it will be judged as unqualified; if one item is unqualified

8 Test report
8.1 Combination packaging performance test report
8.1.1 The combined packaging performance test report shall include the following.
a) The name and address of the combined packaging appraisal agency;
b) The name and address of the applicant (if applicable);
c) Unique identification of performance test report;
d) Date of performance test report;
e) The name and address of the combined packaging manufacturer;
f) Marking of combined packaging;
g) Description of combined packaging types (such as inner packaging, outer packaging size, material, cover, thickness, etc.) and photos (inner packaging, outer packaging, etc.)

b) The use of other packaging methods or components that do not meet 8.1.1 g) ~ 8.1.1 i) may cause the report to be invalid.
8.1.3 The performance test report should be kept for at least two years for inspection.
8.2 Use appraisal report of package
8.2.1 The package use appraisal report shall include the following.
a) The name and address of the certification body;
b) The name and address of the applicant (if applicable);
c) Use the unique identification of the appraisal report;
d) The date of using the appraisal report;
e) Description of packaging type (type and material of outer packaging, type and material of inner packaging);
f) The marking of the packaging and the name of the manufacturer;
g) Unique identification of the performance test report;
h) UN number and proper shipping name of the contents;
i) A description of the quality or volume of the inner packaging and outer packaging containing restricted quantities of dangerous goods;
j) Appraisal conclusion;
k) Signature, including the name and identity of the signatory.
8.2.2 The use appraisal report of the package should be kept for at least two years for inspection.
