5 Product life cycle assessment
5.1 Purpose
Evaluate the environmental impact of the wood floor production life cycle, and provide requirements for the index parameters of the Type III Environmental Declaration (EPD).
5.2 Scope
5.2.1 Functional unit
Production of 1m3 wooden floor.
5.2.2 System boundary
The boundary of the wood floor life cycle system, as shown in Figure 1, includes.
--Raw material production (preparation of raw materials and substrates);
--Auxiliary raw material production (paints, adhesives, curing agents, waterproofing agents, antifungal agents, flame retardants, insect repellents, etc.);
-Energy production (electricity, raw coal, gasoline, natural gas, etc.);
--Transportation of raw materials and energy;
--Wood floor production (see appendix B), excluding the use and abandonment phases.

5.2.3 Description of data
5.2.3.1 Enterprise site data
The company’s on-site data includes raw material consumption, energy consumption, pollutant emissions, and transportation (mainly transportation

5.2.3.2 Background data

5.2.4 Criteria for selection of inputs and outputs

d) Various emissions from the atmosphere and water bodies are listed;
e) The discharge of hazardous solid waste should be listed;
f) General solid waste less than 1% of the total solid waste discharge is negligible;
g) The consumption and emissions of road and plant infrastructure, equipment in various processes, personnel in the plant and living facilities are ignored.
5.2.5 Data quality requirements
5.2.5.1 Quality requirements for field data
a) Representativeness. On-site data should be the production statistics of the enterprise throughout the year (natural year);
b) Completeness. On-site data should be collected according to the principle of 5.3.4.
c) Accuracy. The raw material, energy, and consumption data in the field data should come from the actual production statistics records of the functional unit products;
