1 Scope

This document specifies the terms and definitions, classification, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, and transportation of solid wood siding. Requirements for transportation, storage, etc. This document applies to solid wood siding as specified in 3.1.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions defined in GB/T 4823-2013, GB/T 15036.1-2018, and LY/T 2488-2015 apply to this document. 3.1 Solid wood wall panel The interior wall decorative board directly processed from solid wood. 3.2 Mortised joint solid wood wall panel The side and end structures are solid wood siding panels with tongue and tongue. 3.3 Overlap joint solid wood wall panel The side structure is a stepped solid wood siding. 3.4 Even joint solid wood wall panel The side structure is flat solid wood siding. 3.5 Edge-glued solid wood pannel Solid wood siding made of solid wood splicing boards. 3.6 Unlacquered solid wood wall panel Solid wood siding without any finishing on the surface. 3.7 Lacquered solid wood wall panel Solid wood siding with painted surface. 3.8 Varnished solid wood wall panel Solid wood siding with oiled surface.

5 Technical requirements

5.1 Classification Solid wood siding can be divided into superior product, first-class product and qualified product according to appearance quality and physical and chemical properties. 5.2 Specifications and deviations 5.2.1 Specifications and dimensions 5.2.1.1 The specifications and dimensions of solid wood siding shall meet the requirements of Table 1. 5.2.1.2 The size requirements of the base material unit of spliced solid wood siding; Splice the solid wood siding base material unit, as shown in diagram 6; 5.2.1.3 Products of other sizes can be implemented according to the agreement between the supplier and the buyer. 5.2.1.4 According to the installation needs, the wall panels with the same width and thickness with a ratio area of not more than 5% and length less than the nominal size can be matched in the wall panels sold. 5.2.2 Dimensional deviation 5.2.2.1 The size deviation of solid wood siding shall meet the requirements of Table 3. 5.2.2.2 Length and width do not include the net length and net width of the tongue part. 5.2.3 Shape position deviation The shape and position deviation should meet the requirements of Table 4. 5.3 Appearance quality 5.3.1 The appearance quality of solid wood siding of hardwood species should meet the requirements of Table 5. Note 2.The length of tongue lacking refers to the cumulative length of tongue lacking. 5.3.2 The appearance quality of solid wood siding of conifer species should meet the requirements of Table 6. Note 1.Any defect that cannot be clearly observed under the environmental conditions of appearance quality inspection is not obvious. Note 2.The length of tongue lacking refers to the cumulative length of tongue lacking. 5.3.3 The appearance quality requirements of solid wood siding can be implemented in accordance with the agreement between the supplier and the buyer. 5.4 Physical and chemical properties 5.4.1 The physical and chemical properties should meet the requirements of Table 7. 5.4.2 Refer to Appendix A for the average annual average moisture content of timber in various regions of my country. 5.4.3 The adhesion of the paint film on the surface of unpainted solid wood siding and oil-decorated solid wood siding is not required. 5.4.4 Non-spliced solid wood siding will not be tested for formaldehyde emission items, and the adhesives that are qualified (or designated by the purchaser) by the relevant inspection department The formaldehyde emission item inspection may not be carried out.
