1 Scope
This standard specifies the sampling requirements, sample preparation, mechanical properties test, calculation method and adjustment of the mechanical properties of the structural composite materials.
Integrity.
This standard is applicable to the determination method of the mechanical property characteristic value of structural laminated timber.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Structural composite material structuralgluedlaminatedtimber(structuralglulam)
Also known as laminate glulam, or structural glulam. For the purpose of weight bearing, graded laminates with a thickness of 20mm~45mm (visible)
A structural material obtained by laminating and bonding in the thickness direction in parallel with each other along the fiber direction in terms of classification, mechanical division, or mechanical stress.
3.2
Eigenvalues
A certain quantile of the probability distribution of the mechanical properties of the structural laminated timber. This standard is based on the lower limit of 5% of the 75% inclusion probability.
It is the characteristic value of the strength of the laminated timber for the structure, and the average value at the probability of inclusion of 75% is taken as the characteristic value of the elastic modulus.
4 sampling requirements
When determining the mechanical property characteristic value of a structural laminated product, it should ensure that the product has the same structural form, including the product tree.
Kinds, sub-layer laminate units (strength grade, open tooth form, arrangement, size) and glue.
For each mechanical property, no less than 30 representative structural laminated materials should be randomly selected and cut from each sample.
Cut out at least one mechanical property test piece, that is, the total number of test pieces for each mechanical property is not less than 30.
5 sample preparation
5.1 Water content adjustment
5.1.1 The specimen shall be placed in an environment of temperature (20 ± 2) ° C and relative humidity (65 ± 5)% before being tested for mechanical properties.
Protect the selected sample once every 6h. When the difference between the last two weighings does not exceed 0.1% of the mass of the sample, the sample is considered to be balanced.
