1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for classification, technical requirements, quality classification, inspection and packaging, transportation and storage of thin-shelled pecan nuts and nuts.
This standard applies to the acquisition, storage, transportation and trade of commercial shell pecan nuts and nuts.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Thin shell pecan pecan
Carnation (Caryaillinoensis), also known as pecan, American pecan.
3.2
Oil fruit oilnut
The thin-shelled pecan kernel oil is oxidized and rancid, and the odor is emitted.
4 nut quality grade
The quality level of nuts is shown in Table 1.
