1 Scope
This standard specifies the objectives, objectives, conditions, technical indicators and other requirements of the young and middle-aged forests in Changbai Mountain forest area.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Primitive forest virginforest
A forest community that is in the top state of natural succession, has inherently stable characteristics, and maintains balance.
Note. The primary forests in Changbai Mountain forest area mainly include 6 forest type groups including Korean pine forest, Yun fir forest, Changbai larch forest, red pine forest, Changbai pine forest and broad-leaved mixed forest.
At present, it has ceased to exist except for nature reserves.
3.2
Over-cutting forest
After the unreasonable selection of the amount of the original forest, the residual mixed-age forest of different ages. It is a kind of between the original forest and the secondary forest.
Type of forest vegetation.
Note. The over-cut forests in the Changbai Mountain forest area mainly include two forest type groups. coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest and broad-leaved mixed forest.

Secondary forest secondaryforest
Due to long-term repeated disturbances, the original forest suffered severe damage, and tree species replaced, and secondary forest communities formed on secondary bare land.
Note. The secondary forests in Changbai Mountain forest area mainly include five forest type groups. alfalfa (柞) forest, Yanghua forest, hard broad-leaved forest, soft broad-leaved forest and coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest.

Natural forest naturalforest
Forests formed by natural regeneration or artificial promotion of natural regeneration (including replanting); artificial origin but invaded by natural forests, composed of tree species
The natural origin is greater than the forest formed by artificial origin.
