This document replaces LY/T 1893-2010 "Technical Regulations for Cultivation of Pomegranate Seedlings" and LY/T 2135-2018 "Pomegranate Quality Grades". Compared with LY/T 1893-2010 and LY/T 2135-2018, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows. a) The cultivation technology of pomegranate seedlings has been changed (see Chapter 4, Chapter 4 to Chapter 7 of LY/T 1893-2010); b) Added grafting seedling technology (see 4.6); c) Added pomegranate cultivation management (see Chapter 5); d) Pest and disease control has been modified (see Chapter 6, 4.7.7 of LY/T 1893-2010); e) Added technical requirements for fruit harvesting (see Chapter 7); f) The technical content of pomegranate fruit quality grade has been changed (see Chapter 8, Chapter 4 to Chapter 6 of LY/T 2135-2018); g) Added technical requirements for fruit storage and preservation (see Chapter 8). 1 Scope

This document specifies the seedling cultivation, cultivation management, pest and disease control, fruit quality grade and storage of pomegranate (Punicagranatum L.) Storage and preservation and other technical requirements. This document applies to the cultivation of pomegranate seedlings, production and sales of fruits.

3 Terms and definitions
