Formaldehyde emission determination
1 Scope
This standard specifies the method for determining the amount of formaldehyde released from artificial boards.
This standard applies to high-density fiberboard, medium-density fiberboard, fiberboard for floorboard and particleboard.

3 test methods
3.1 Principle
In a working chamber with a certain temperature, a certain flow of purified and dried air is introduced into the test box, and the test piece is sucked at a temperature and a negative pressure.
The formaldehyde contained in the release is released, and the released formaldehyde is introduced into a certain amount of formaldehyde absorption liquid through the air, and the formaldehyde absorption liquid is determined by spectrophotometry.
The formaldehyde content in the test process is shown in Figure 1.
