1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions of azalea potted flowers, suitable cultivation environment conditions, seedling breeding, cultivation management, flowering regulation and packaging.
Requirements for loading, labeling and transportation.
This standard applies to the breeding and production of the main varieties of azalea potted plants in mainland China.

Rhododendron flower
Cultivated in pots and other containers for the purpose of flower viewing, such as spring sorghum, summer sorghum, Dongpu, and Xiqiao.
4 Suitable cultivation environment conditions
4.1 Climatic conditions
The suitable growth temperature is 15 °C ~ 25 °C, the temperature difference between day and night is about 10 °C, and the relative humidity of the environment is above 60%.
4.2 Soil requirements
Loose, fertile, humus-rich, acidic soil with a pH of 5.5 to 6.5.
4.3 Cultivation facilities
4.3.1 Ordinary greenhouse (galvanized steel pipe greenhouse)
The size of the greenhouse is generally 30m long, 6m wide and 2.5m high. The special circumstances can be determined by the ground, but the growth and development of potted rhododendron should be ensured.
