Coconut fiberboard
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of coir boards.

This standard is applicable to the use of coconut fiber as the skeleton material, combing the coconut fiber into a filament, which is formed by needle-punching, paving, spraying and hot pressing.
Plate of porous structure.
This standard does not apply to products made with aldehyde adhesives.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
The obtained silky material after the coconut shell is processed into slag.
3.2
A porous structural plate which is knitted into a filament shape by needle punching, paving, and hot pressing.
3.3
A coir board having a density of 0.13 g/cm3 or less.
3.4
A coir board having a density greater than 0.13 g/cm3.
3.5
The sheet was placed horizontally on the test bench and a downward vertical load was applied to it, causing the amount of displacement of the sheet surface along the load direction.
