This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces LB/T 065-2017 "Basic Requirements and Evaluation of Tourist Homestays", and the main technical content compared with LB/T 065-2017
The changes are as follows.
---More embodies the new concept of development and the integration of culture and tourism;
---Strengthen the requirements for health, safety, fire protection, etc., and improve the exit mechanism;
---Modify the tourist homestay level from two levels of Jinsu and Yinsu to three levels of three-star, four-star, and five-star;
---Clarified the classification conditions of three-star, four-star and five-star tourist homestays.

Basic Requirements and Evaluation of Tourist Homestay
1 Scope
This standard specifies the grades and signs, basic requirements, grade division conditions, and grade division methods of tourist homestays.
This standard applies to small tourist accommodation facilities that are officially open, including but not limited to inns, manors, houses, post stations, and villas.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Travel Homestay
Utilize relevant idle resources such as local dwellings, the operating rooms do not exceed 4 floors, and the building area does not exceed 800m2.
Provide tourists with small accommodation facilities to experience the local nature, culture, production and lifestyle.
Note. According to the different regions, it can be divided into town and country houses.
3.2
Homestay owner
Homestay owner or manager.
4 grades and signs
4.1 The tourist homestay level is divided into 3 levels, from low to high respectively three-star, four-star and five-star.
4.2 The star tourist homestay logo is composed of residential houses and five-pointed stars. Three five-pointed stars indicate three-star and four five-pointed stars indicate four-star.
Five five-pointed stars means five-star.
4.3 The signs and certificates of tourist homestay rating shall be uniformly produced by the rating agency.
5 Basic requirements
5.1 Standardized operation
5.1.1 It shall meet the relevant regulations and requirements of public security, fire protection, health, environmental protection, and safety, and obtain relevant licenses required by the local government.
5.1.2 The business site should comply with the overall planning of the city and county's land and space (including the current overall planning of towns and cities, overall planning of land use), and relevant plans for the development of local homestays.
5.1.3 The service items should be publicized in text and graphics, and business hours should be marked, and the charge items should be clearly marked with prices.
