1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification, model designation, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, instructions, packaging,
Transportation and storage.
This standard applies to insect specimens used in middle school teaching.

3 Classification and model designation
3.1 According to the different technical characteristics of the products, the products are divided into dry insect specimens and embedded insect specimens.
3.2 The composition and form of the product model follow the provisions of JY/T 0026-1991, as follows.

Product specifications, expressed by the number of types, 6 means 6 types
Feature code, G means dry, BM means embedding
Product name, KC pinyin prefix, KC means insect
Product model, classification code is SB
Model example 1. SB-KC-G-6, indicating a dry insect specimen containing 6 specimens.
Model example 2. SB-KC-BM-6, which represents an embedded insect specimen containing 6 specimens.
4 Requirements
4.1 Composition and dimensions
4.1.1 The product shall be selected from Orthoptera, Hemiptera, Homoptera, Coleoptera, Veinoptera, Lepidoptera, Diptera, Hymenoptera and Odonata.
The six goals represent the composition of insects.

4.1.2 Locusts should be selected for orthoptera, and the length of the locust is not less than 30 mm.
4.1.3 Hemiptera should be selected for stingers, with a body length of not less than 15 mm, and wings spread.
4.1.4 Cicadas should be selected for homoptera, with a body length of not less than 30 mm.
4.1.5 Coleoptera should use beetles or beetles, with a body length of not less than 30 mm.
4.1.6 Arthropods should be selected from the family Antidae, with a body length of not less than 35 mm.
4.1.7 Lepidoptera should use butterflies or edwards, with a body length of not less than 20 mm and wings spread.
4.1.8 Diptera should choose flies with a body length of not less than 8 mm.
4.1.9 Hymenoptera should use bees or wasps with a body length of not less than 10 mm.
4.1.10 The dragonfly should choose dragonfly, with a body length of not less than 30 mm, and spread wings.
4.2 Appearance
Each specimen should be natural in shape, complete in structure, normal in color, and should be reshaped with antennae, feet, and wings, and the appearance should conform to JY/T 0001-2003

4.3 Identification
Each specimen should have a name tag or number tag for the name of the animal directly below it. If a number tag is used, it should be attached where the product does not affect observation.

4.4 Packaging and Arrangement Requirements for Dry Specimens
4.13.1 Each specimen shall be fixed to the liner of the specimen box in a natural posture.
4.13.2 The top surface of the specimen box should be colorless and transparent. Specimens made of plexiglass should be sealed. Non-plexiglass specimen boxes should be moisture-proof and

4.13.3 The specimens should be arranged neatly and beautifully. The space between the outermost edges of the specimens should not be less than 20 mm.

4.5 Packaging and layout requirements for specimens when the product is embedded
4.14.1 Each specimen is embedded in a resin material with a natural posture.
4.14.2 The embedded block shall be basically colorless and transparent, and there shall be no obvious air bubbles and dirt in the middle.
4.14.3 The specimens should be arranged neatly and beautifully. The space between the outermost edges of the specimens should not be less than 20 mm.

4.6 Environmental test
4.6.1 The product shall be tested for temperature according to JY/T 0213.
4.6.2 The product shall be subjected to a free drop test in accordance with JY/T 0213.
5 Test method
5.1 The dimensions of 4.1, 4.4.3 and 4.4.3 of this standard shall be inspected with a steel ruler with a division value of 1 mm.
5.2 Test method of plexiglass box sealing in 4.4.2. immerse the product in 300 mm depth of water for 10 min in the direction of normal flat placement,

5.3 The temperature test of 4.6.1 of this standard shall be carried out in accordance with 4.1 of JY/T 0213-1994.
5.4 The drop test of 4.6.2 of this standard shall be conducted in accordance with 4.6 of JY/T 0213-1994.
5.5 Appearance and other sensory inspections.
6 Inspection rules
6.1 Inspection classification
The inspection of this product is divided into factory inspection, type inspection and quality supervision spot inspection.
6.2 Inspection items
The inspection items and methods of factory inspection and type inspection are shown in Table 1.

6.3 Sampling method
6.3.1 During the factory inspection, all the inspection items shall be inspected first, and the sampling inspection items shall be inspected among the qualified products.
6.3.2 The samples for type inspection shall be taken from the products that passed the factory inspection.
6.3.3 The sampling methods for factory inspection and type inspection shall be in accordance with JY/T 0002.
6.4 Non-conformance determination
6.4.1 The determination of sampling inspection shall be in accordance with JY/T 0002.
6.4.2 The failure criterion of a single sample is in accordance with JY/T 0002.
6.4.3 When inspecting all inspection items, it shall be judged according to the unqualified criterion of a single sample.
6.4.4 All provisions of this standard are main performance indicators.
6.5 Quality supervision random inspection
Quality supervision and random inspection shall be in accordance with JY/T 0002.
