3.1 Model Nomenclature

4 Requirements
4.1 Slides and coverslips, appearance, specimen collection and processing, specimen staining, and specimen covers should comply with JY/T 0067-2011

4.2 Specimens should be taken from the root tip of onions during the period of vigorous cell division, and the upper end of the root should be neat.
4.3 Make a longitudinal cut, and place 1 to 3 pieces of material on each slide.
4.4 Cells in the pre-, middle, late, and terminal stages of division should be clearly displayed.
4.5 The morphological characteristics of chromosomes at each stage of division are typical.
4.6 The root apex should be intact and not damaged, and there should be no obvious cracks between the cells and obvious contraction of the nucleus.
4.7 The nucleus, nucleoli and chromosome should be clearly colored, and the cytoplasm should be pale.
