This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces JY/T 0060-1994 "Counter". Compared with JY/T 0060-1994, major technical changes
It is as follows.
-Added normative references (see Chapter 2);
-Added a demonstration vertical counter to the counter category (see Table 1);
-Added requirements for counting units and digital labels on the counter (see 4.1.2);
-Added safety requirements and test methods (see 4.5 and 5.4);
-Added defect classification of product technical indicators (see 6.2).
This standard is proposed by the Basic Education Department of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification and naming of counters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, instructions, packaging, and transportation.

3 Classification and naming
3.1 Classification
The products are divided into horizontal counters and vertical counters according to the structure, and are divided into demonstration and student uses according to their uses. For specific classification and structural characteristics, see the table

3.2 Naming rules
The naming is in accordance with the provisions of JY/T 0026-1991.

4 Technical requirements
4.1 Structure
4.1.1 The number of different types of counters, the number of beads per bead, and the bead color shall conform to Table 1.
4.1.2 There should be a counting unit and a digital label on the appropriate position of the counter. The label should be easy to display and remove.
4.1.3 The abacus should be in the form of diamond beads, the shape and the parts are shown in Figure 1.

4.2 Dimensions
4.2.1 The size of the abacus should meet the requirements of Table 2. The error of each size. ± 10%.
4.2.2 The distance between the two bars of the demo counter should not be less than 45 mm, and the diameter of the bead rod is 4 mm ± 0.4 mm; the distance between the two bars of the student counter should not be less than
30 mm, the diameter of the abacus rod is 2.5 mm ± 0.25 mm.

4.3 Performance
4.3.1 The abacus should be neatly arranged on the abacus rod, easy to move, and flexible to move. The abacus on two adjacent abacus rods should not touch each other.
4.3.2 The abacus rod should have sufficient strength, with a smooth and smooth appearance, even arrangement, and firm positioning. Bead rods for vertical counters should withstand 5 N

4.3.3 The counter shall be able to be placed vertically on a horizontal table. The color of the bead and the baffle should be in sharp contrast.
4.3.4 The counter should be firm in structure, with a flat surface and prominent observation parts. The height (width) of the baffle should be able to cover all the beads.
4.4 Appearance and workmanship
4.4.1 The abacus gluing shall be firm and shall not crack during normal transportation and use.
4.4.2 Wooden pieces should be made of wood without scars and degreased and dried. The moisture content should meet the requirements of 6.28 in JY/T 0001-2003.
Plastic parts shall meet the requirements of 6.27 in JY/T 0001-2003.
4.4.3 The surface of metal parts should be rust-proofed, and the rust-proof layer should be firm; the surface of wooden parts should be painted with smooth and uniform paint layer; the surface of plastic parts should be smooth and clean.
4.5 Security
4.5.1 All exposed accessible parts shall have no dangerous sharp edges and tips that may cause harm to human body. Sharp edges and corners should be inverted

4.5.2 Chemical substances exposed to materials used in products after normal use and after abuse tests should not have a negative impact on human health,

4.6 Environmental test
The product shall be subjected to a temperature test in accordance with 3.1 of JY/T 0213-1994.
5 Test method
5.1 Dimensions
Measured with a steel ruler with a graduation value of 1mm and a vernier caliper with a graduation value of 0.02mm, which shall comply with the provisions of 4.2.
5.2 Wood moisture content
It shall be in accordance with Chapters 5 and 6 of GB 1931-2009 and shall meet the requirements of 4.4.2.
5.3 Performance
The counter shall be fixed vertically, and the upper end of the bead rod shall be pulled up vertically with a dynamometer, which shall meet the requirements of 4.3.2.
5.4 Security
5.4.1 Accessible exposed dangerous sharp edges and tips shall be tested in accordance with 5.8 and 5.9 of GB 6675.2-2014, respectively.
5.4.2 The transportable elements in the materials used in the product shall be tested in accordance with the method of GB 6675.4. The test results shall meet the requirements of 4.5.2.
5.4.3 The phthalate plasticizer in the materials used in the product shall be tested according to the method of GB/T 22048. The test results shall meet the requirements of 4.5.2.
5.5 Structure, appearance and workmanship
The sensory inspection shall meet the requirements of 4.1, 4.3, and 4.4.
5.6 Environmental test
Test according to 4.1 of JY/T 0213-1994. The samples after the test should be able to meet all technical requirements.
6 Inspection rules
6.1 Inspection classification
Product inspection is divided into factory inspection, type inspection and quality supervision inspection.
6.2 Inspection items and inspection methods
The inspection items, inspection methods and defect classification of factory inspection and type inspection shall be in accordance with Table 3.

6.3 Lot rules and sampling methods
6.3.1 The factory inspection shall be batched according to the natural batch of delivery, and the type inspection shall be batched according to the stock array.
6.3.2 When leaving the factory for inspection, inspect all the inspection items first, take samples from the qualified products of all inspection items, and inspect the items for sampling inspection.
6.3.3 The samples for type inspection shall be taken from the products that passed the factory inspection.
6.3.4 The sampling methods for factory inspection and type inspection shall be in accordance with the relevant provisions of JY/T 0002.
6.4 Non-conformance determination
6.4.1 The failure criterion of a single sample shall be implemented in accordance with 4.3 of JY/T 0002-2003.
6.4.2 In Table 3, "A" is the main technical index, and "B" is the non-main technical index.
6.5 Review rules
6.5.1 Unqualified batches and products can be submitted for re-inspection after rework.
6.5.2 If the cause of the batch disqualification is a sampling inspection item, the item shall be fully inspected during the re-inspection.
6.6 Quality supervision inspection
Refer to type inspection.
