3 Terms and definitions
3.1 Four wheel aligner (four-wheelalignmenter)
An instrument for measuring the four wheel alignment parameters of a car.
3.2 single wheel toe angle (individualwheeltoe-in)
The inner angle of the rotation plane of each wheel with respect to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle (geometric centerline) is called the single wheel toe angle.
(θ), the front end of the wheel is positive toward the longitudinal axis, and vice versa.
3.3 wheel camber (camber)
The angle between the center plane of the wheel and the vertical plane of the car. When the top of the wheel is tilted toward the outside of the car, the angle is positive.
It is negative.
3.4 caster angle (camberbiff)
The line connecting the tip of the ball or the top of the strut to the lower ball and the plumb line on the suspension, and the angle viewed from the side of the car. on
