Summary This standard specifies the classification and marking, raw materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and factory certificates of fiber-reinforced composite protective tubes for cables. This standard is applicable to cables that use glass fiber twistless roving and its products as reinforcing materials, thermosetting or thermoplastic resin as the matrix material, and are formed by fixed-length winding process, continuous winding process, continuous winding and laying process and braided winding and pultrusion process. Use fiber reinforced composite material to protect the tube. FRP protective tubes formed by other processes can be used with reference to this standard.
