1 Scope of application
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic requirements, and technical requirements of printers, fax machines, and all-in-one environmental labeling products.

3 Terms and definitions
GB 25956-2010 and the following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1 printer printers

4.3 Product manufacturers should strengthen clean production in the production process.
5 Technical content
5.1 Product Environmental Protection Design Requirements
5.1.1 The product environment design should meet the requirements of Appendix A.
5.1.2 Deca-BDE and SCCPs shall not be used for the outer casing, protective parts and the substrate of the circuit board.

5.1.3 Plastic parts with a mass greater than 25g shall not be used except for the plastic parts adjacent to the heating and imaging components in the outer casing and protective parts.
For chlorine-containing and bromine-containing polymers, flame retardants containing organochlorine compounds and organic bromine compounds should not be added.
5.1.4 In addition to wire and cable, the phthalates listed in Appendix B shall not be used in plastic parts with a mass greater than 25g.
5.1.5 Tributyltin (TBT) and triphenyltin (TPT) shall not be used in product parts.
5.1.6 The total amount of benzo(a)pyrene in the product casing, various types of buttons and external power cord shall not exceed 20 mg/kg, as listed in Appendix C.
The sum of 16 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) should not exceed.200 mg/kg.
5.1.7 The battery included in the product shall comply with the requirements of HJ/T 238.
5.1.8 The toner cartridge for the product shall meet the requirements of clauses 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.5, 5.6, 5.7 of HJ 570-2010.
5.1.9 The inkjet cartridges for the product shall meet the requirements of clauses 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.5, 5.6, 5.7 of HJ 573-2010.
5.2 Product production stage requirements
5.2.1 Do not use hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs), 1,1,1-trichloroethane (C2H3Cl3), trichloroethylene (C2HCl3), dichloroethane
(CH3CHCl2), dichloromethane (CH2Cl2), chloroform (CHCl3), carbon tetrachloride (CCl4), bromopropane (C3H7Br), etc.

5.3.5 Double-sided printing requirements

5.4 Product Packaging Requirements
5.4.1 Hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) should not be used as blowing agents.
5.4.2 The total amount of heavy metals such as lead, cadmium, mercury and hexavalent chromium in packaging and packaging materials shall not exceed 100 mg/kg.

5.5 Product recycling phase requirements

5.7 Supply Guarantee
5.7.1 Maintenance Guarantee

The company shall undertake to provide the consumables of the product for at least 5 years after the product is discontinued.
6 Test methods
6.1 Technical content The inspection of TVOC, benzene and styrene in Article 5.3.1 shall be carried out in accordance with the method specified in Appendix D; the inspection of ozone shall be in accordance with Appendix E.

6.2 Technical content 5.3.2 Inspection shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of 6 of GB/T 18313-2001. The following conditions shall be met first when testing.
a) The noise shall be checked under the factory default conditions and no additional accessories are involved;
b) Monochrome products should be tested in monochrome test version GB/T 22372 or GB/T 18313-2001, color products should be used

c) testing with the paper of the product's nominal maximum paper width (the thermal product uses its designated paper);
d) testing with paper having a basis weight of 60-80 g/m2;

6.3 Technical content The inspection of 5.3.3 shall be carried out in accordance with the method specified in GB 25956-2010, and the carbon dioxide emissions shall be in accordance with Appendix G.

Inspection procedures for total volatile organic compounds, benzene and styrene
D.1 Scope of application
The method is suitable for the TVOC, benzene and styrene emission rates of printers, fax machines and all-in-ones under working conditions.
D.2 Principle of the method
Select a suitable adsorbent (Tenax TA), collect a certain volume of air sample with a sorbent tube, and volatize organically in the air stream.
The compound remains in the adsorption tube. After sampling, the adsorption tube is heated to resolve volatile organic compounds, and the sample to be tested enters with inert carrier gas.
Capillary gas chromatograph. Characterize by retention time and quantify peak area.
D.3 Test conditions
