1 Scope
This document specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, and storage of six-degree-of-freedom external fixation brackets.
This document applies to six-degree-of-freedom external fixation brackets, and does not involve other types of external fixation brackets.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
External fixatorexternalfixator
It is assembled from rods, rings, hinges and other structures made of metal or other materials. The main structure is located outside the body.
A device that is attached to maintain the stability of the bone structure or to adjust it.
3.2
It is assembled by a fixing ring with fixing holes, sliding grooves and other structures and 6 adjusting rods with a scale and adjustable length through a joint joint.
The relative position between the fixing rings can be adjusted in three-dimensional space by adjusting the different lengths of the six adjusting rods.
