1 Scope
This Guidance Technical Document specifies the general conditions of use of 1000kV porcelain, composite porcelain core and composite post insulators, technical requirements, inspection
Rules, packaging, labeling and shipping.
This Guidance Document is applicable to power equipment and equipment installed in AC substations with a nominal voltage of 1000kV and a frequency of 50Hz
Put the outdoor porcelain, composite porcelain core and composite pillar insulators (hereinafter referred to as insulators).
This guidance document does not include some of the requirements for selecting pillar insulators for specific operating conditions.
This guidance document can be used as a reference standard for post insulators for DC systems.
