This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 9971-2004 "raw iron."
This standard compared with GB/T 9971-2004, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Remove the initial billet varieties and related requirements, the original standard of flat bar and flat steel bar;
--- New product brand YT4. Adjust YT1, YT2, YT3 chemical composition of manganese, sulfur, copper and the upper limit of control element YT1 aluminum
Control cap, an increase of various grades of oxygen, titanium content requirements;
--- Increase product smelting method requirements;
--- Canceled the original standard appendix A and Appendix B, carbon and sulfur detection methods directly referenced to the relevant national standards;
--- Refined the surface quality requirements.
