Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB/T 8883-2008 "edible wheat starch," compared with GB/T 8883-2008 main technical changes are as follows. --- Added terminology (see Chapter 3); --- Removed the requirements of the health requirements (2008 version 3.3); --- Increased product safety indicators (see 4.3); --- Modify the wheat A starch speckle indicators, an increase of wheat B starch technical requirements (see Table 2,.2008 edition of Table 2); --- Remove the viscosity index (2008 version of Table 2); --- Modify the fat test method (see Appendix A,.2008 version 4.6); --- Modify the sampling rules in the inspection rules (see 6.1, 6.2,.2008 version 5.1). 1 Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements of wheat starch consumption, test methods, inspection rules, acceptance rules and labels, signs, packaging, transportation Lose, store and sell the request. 3 Terms and definitions

GB/T 12104 defined and the following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Wheat A starch wheatA-starch Starch having a particle diameter of generally 10 μm or more in wheat starch. Note, accounting for more than 70% of the quality of wheat starch. 3.2 Wheat B starch wheatB-starch Starch having a particle diameter of generally 10 μm or less in wheat starch. Note, accounting for less than 30% of the quality of wheat starch.
