1 Purpose and scope
1.1 Scope
This section GB/T 8287 applies to the nominal voltage above 1000V, frequency does not exceed the electrical system of 100Hz AC running
Indoor or outdoor post insulators and ceramic or glass element device or equipment, as well as indoor post insulators of organic material. This section also

This section includes the main insulator for isolating switches, circuit breakers, fuses and other electrical equipment and buses.
This section includes five types of post insulators.
a) within indoors with plastic or glass pillar porcelain insulators;
b) in the indoor post insulators of organic material with plastic;
c) Binding cylindrical pillar within the outdoor porcelain or glass insulators;
d) with plastic outer cylindrical pillar outdoor porcelain or glass insulators;
e) Outdoor needle pillar porcelain or glass insulators.
