This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents"
Drafting.
This document replaces GB/T 8165-2008 "Stainless Steel Composite Plate and Strip". Compared with GB/T 8165-2008, except for the structural adjustment
Besides the editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The applicable scope of the product has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2008 edition), and the thickness range of composite steel plates (strips) has been deleted.
Provisions (see Chapter 1 of the.2008 edition), deleted the shear steel plate (see Chapter 1 of the.2008 edition);
b) Some terms and definitions have been changed (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the.2008 edition);
c) The classification of composite steel plates (strips) has been deleted (see Table 1 of the.2008 edition);
d) Added requirements for product labeling (see 4.2);
e) Added delivery status (see 5.2);
f) Product standards for the covering and base materials of composite steel plates (strips) have been added, and steel grades are listed uniformly according to numerical codes (see Table 2);
g) Added non-destructive testing standards related to repair welding of composite steel plates (strips) (see 7.2.2);
h) The provisions on the mechanical properties of composite steel plates (strips) have been modified (see Table 4, 7.3 of the.2008 edition);
i) The requirements for the bending properties of composite steel plates (strips) have been changed (see Tables 5 and 6, and Tables 11 and 12 of the.2008 edition);
j) The cupping test was deleted (see 7.4.2 of the.2008 edition);
k) The provisions on the surface quality of composite steel plates (strips) have been changed (see 7.5, 7.5 of the.2008 edition);
l) Added the pitting corrosion resistance test for composite steel plates (strips) (see 7.6). The corrosion test of the cladding materials before and after composite is determined by negotiation.

m) Added the test for ferrite content (see 7.7);
n) The provisions on the dimensions, composite area, cladding thickness and tolerance of composite steel plates (strips) have been changed. Only the cladding thickness tolerance has been changed.
The total thickness tolerance is determined according to the “Allowable deviation of the covering material and the base material” (see 7.8 and 7.9, 6.1 and.2008 edition).
