Foreword
This standard replaces GB 7327-1987 "AC systems with silicon carbide surge arresters."
This standard and GB 7327-1987 compared to the main changes are as follows.
--- Structures and rules are written according to GB/T 1.1-2000 "Standardization Guide Part 1. Structure and rules are written standard";
--- Added "normative references";
--- The "arrester abnormal conditions" in Appendix A;
--- The "signs, packaging, transportation and storage" section moved to Appendix C;
--- Original criteria in Appendix B, "Glossary" on the "Terms and definitions".
Appendix A of this standard is a normative appendix, Appendix B and Appendix C are informative appendices.
The standard proposed by China Electrical Equipment Industrial Association.
This standard by the National Standardization Technical Committee arrester.
This standard was drafted. Xi'an Institute of Electric Porcelain.
The main drafters of this standard. Cheng Wenyi, when Zhang Yu, Li Jian.
This standard replaces the standards previously issued as follows.
--- GB 7327-1987.
AC systems with silicon carbide surge arresters
1 Scope
This standard specifies the exchange carbide surge arresters under normal conditions of use of the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules.
This standard applies to limit over-voltage AC power system, protect electrical equipment from overvoltage damage silicon carbide surge arresters.

3 Terms and Definitions
GB/T 2900.12-2008 and GB/T 2900.19-1994 established in the following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
Common valve arrester lightning arrester is flat plate valve clearance and composed.
3.2
Magnetic blow valve type arrester gap with magnetic blow (external magnetic field and the use of force in a magnetic field of the arc movement) and the valve arrester thereof.
3.3
It is to maintain a certain gap separation distance of two electrodes. It is a major part of the arrester. The main role is insulation, put
And electrical arcing. Under normal operating voltage, the arrester is insulated. When the system voltage reaches the discharge gap voltage discharge gap. through
It had a certain impact on current and frequency current and future frequency current first zero crossing, the voltage at the interrupter interrupter.
3.4
Frequency continuous circulation of obsolete under the influence of a magnetic field, the arc is stretched, squeezed so that the arc resistance is increased, thus limiting the power frequency freewheeling, with this original
Li called gap limiting gap.
3.5
After arrester action, the flow through the arrester frequency current, called freewheeling frequency.
