Pressure equipment includes boilers, pressure vessels, gas cylinders and pressure pipes. These equipment are widely used in various aspects of the national economy. Their common characteristics are.
The point is that it involves production and life safety. Once an accident occurs, the harm is great. There are many kinds of materials used in manufacturing pressure equipment. Steel is the most important material in the actual process.
The most widely used material in the industry. Steel for pressure equipment is a key raw material for the manufacture of major technical equipment and is the key to the safe operation of pressure equipment.
As pressure-bearing equipment develops towards large-scale, high-parameter, and structural diversity, its working conditions are becoming more and more demanding.
Therefore, more stringent requirements are put forward for the materials used to manufacture pressure-bearing equipment. Reasonable selection of materials is crucial for the reasonable structure, safety and long-term use of equipment.
In order to further standardize the technical requirements of steel for pressure equipment, it is urgent to formulate a unified pressure equipment steel standard.

GB/T 713 "Steel Plates and Strips for Pressure Equipment" is intended to standardize the steel plates and strips for boilers, pressure vessels, liquefied natural gas (LNG) ships, liquefied petroleum gas
Classification and grade, ordering content, size, shape, weight, technical requirements, test methods, inspection of steel plates and steel strips for pressure equipment such as (LPG) ships
It consists of 8 parts, including inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality certificate.
