1 Scope

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Road icing
The road surface is in a state of ice, frost, snow, or a mixture of ice and snow.
3.2
Number of freezing days
Using 20.00 Beijing time as the day boundary, a day with an average daily temperature of 1°C or less, a minimum daily temperature of 0°C or less, and precipitation is considered a valid day.

The number of days with frost observed is determined by taking 20.00 Beijing time as the dividing line.

Traffic volume
The number of vehicles or pedestrians passing through a certain section of a road per unit of time.
