1 Scope
This document describes the thermoplastic manhole upper assembly (usually including the shaft, offset end, expansion joint and pressure ring)
and traffic load performance test methods.
This document applies to the testing of the resistance of thermoplastic manhole upper assemblies to ground and traffic loads.
This document is not applicable to the testing of thermoplastic manhole covers and cover bases.

4 Principle

5 Experimental equipment
5.1 Test chamber
The test chamber should be large enough to accommodate the test component and should be at least 0.3 m away from all sides of the plastic component.
It should be vertical and smooth, and the structure and strength of the test box should ensure that the deformation of any point of the test box during the test should not exceed 3mm.
5.2 Loading device
The required load can be applied to the middle of the manhole cover and can maintain a constant load for at least 15 minutes. The loading plate for applying the load should meet
