Vibration levels in gas fuel combustion chambers Evaluation and measurement methods

1 Scope

This document defines the vibration levels in the combustion chamber caused by the combustion of gaseous fuels under typical operating conditions and specifies the requirements and methods for evaluation and measurement. This document applies to the evaluation and measurement of vibration levels in industrial combustion chambers burning gaseous fuels.

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 37650 and GB/T 51306 and the following apply to this document. 3.1 Combustion chamber A chamber in which fuel is burned to produce high temperature products. 3.2 A combustion chamber in which the flow direction of combustion products is perpendicular to the ground. 3.3 A combustion chamber in which the flow direction of combustion products is parallel to the ground. 3.4 The operating condition when the vibration amplitude is maximum. 3.5 The root mean square of the vibration velocity at all points within a unit period.

4 Evaluation and requirements of combustion chamber vibration level

4.1 Under typical working conditions, gas fuel burns in the combustion chamber, and the combustion chamber vibrates (hereinafter referred to as vibration) due to turbulent combustion pulsation, etc. The level evaluation is shown in Table 1.
