1 Scope
This document specifies the construction products and services, building components and accessories, and comprehensive building technology systems involved in any type of construction project.
Principles, specifications and requirements for Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), and general requirements of the Product Category Rules (PCRs) adopted by EPDs.
This document refines and supplements ISO 14025 as applied to building products and services.
This document is a general PCR file for EPD of building products, building components and building integrated technology systems, including the following.
a) Calculate the life cycle inventory analysis (LCI), preset environmental indicators, and life cycle impact assessment involved in the EPD report
(LCIA) results, etc.;
b) Describe which life cycle phases are considered in a particular EPD, which processes are included in the life cycle phases, and the

c) establish rules for how to build scenarios;
d) Rules for reporting relevant environmental and technical information not included in the LCA;
e) specify the core elements to be covered by the EPD;
f) Establishing the structure of project reports;

h) provide requirements and guidance for PCR of construction product subcategories;
i) Mandatory and non-changeable requirements to be included in any PCR based on this document.

This document does not include an evaluation of the economic and social factors involved in the product.
