1 Scope
This document specifies the general provisions for field testing of power characteristics of tidal current power generation devices, flow rate measurement, and output power of tidal current power generation devices.

The ratio of the output energy of the tidal current power generation device to the input energy of the flow rate.

Equivalent diameter

Note 1.For the horizontal axis tidal current power generation device, it refers to the diameter of the rotating impeller of the tidal current power generation device.
Note 2.For the vertical axis power flow power generation device, it refers to the diameter of the rotating impeller of the horizontal axis power flow power generation device equivalently transformed into the same swept area.
