Calibration method of rock triaxial tester
1 Scope
This document describes the calibration performance, calibration method, calibration result and calibration cycle of the rock triaxial tester.
This document is applicable to rocks with an axial rated load of 500kN~5000kN and a lateral rated load of 20MPa~150MPa.
Shaft tester calibration. Refer to the calibration of the rock triaxial creep tester.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions defined in GB/T 36416.1 apply to this document.
3.1
Rock triaxial testing apparatus rocktriaxial testingapparatus
Triaxial instrument
A testing machine for testing the strength and deformation characteristics of rock specimens under the three-dimensional stress state of equal lateral pressure (σ2=σ3).
Note. Consists of axial and lateral loading devices, load indicating devices and deformation measuring devices. Refer to Appendix A for symbols, units and instructions commonly used in triaxial instrument calibration.
3.2
Extensometer
When the triaxial instrument exerts a load on the rock specimen, the specimen deformation measuring device is composed of a deformation sensor and a deformation display unit.
3.3
Resolution
The test machine indicating device that can effectively distinguish indicates the smallest difference between the indicated values.

Standard dynamometer
A force measuring instrument for verification, calibration, comparison, and transfer of standard force values.
3.5
Division value
Indicates the difference between the magnitudes represented by two adjacent scale lines on the scale of the indicating device.
