4 Basic information of Bactrocera jujube
Scientific name. Carpomyavesuviana Costa, 1854.
Synonym. CarpomyiazizyphaeAgarwal
English name. Berfruitfly.
Taxonomic status. Diptera, Tephritidae, Trypetinae, Carpomya.
Transmission route. Adults can spread by flying, eggs and larvae can be spread long distances with the injured fruit, and pupae can be spread with the fruit and its package.
Spread from the soil carried by the contents, transportation vehicles or host plants.

5 Principles of the method
According to the damage of the fruit fly on the fruit, check the host fruit at the jujube fruit quarantine site or orchard where the date fruit fly is suspected to occur.
Take samples of larvae, pupae, or adults. If it is a larva or pupae, it needs to be raised until the adult is made into a needle insert; if the adult body is dry and hard, the preparation is in progress
Before preparing the specimens, use an insect softener for softening treatment, and make needle-inserted specimens after the insects are softened. Place the specimen under a stereo microscope for observation, according to
Adult morphological characteristics and host to determine the species.
