1 Scope
This document describes the method for determining the content of phosphorus, silicon, manganese and titanium in ferrophosphorus by wavelength dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry.
This document is applicable to the determination of phosphorus, silicon, manganese and titanium content in ferrophosphorus. See Table 1 for the determination range of each analysis element.

4 Principle
After the sample is subjected to a special pre-oxidation treatment, it is melted into a flat and smooth glass sample, and the primary X-rays generated by the X-ray tube are irradiated to the glass.
On the surface of the glass sample, the characteristic X-rays generated are split by the crystal, and the detector measures the X at the 2θ angle corresponding to the selected characteristic wavelength.
