1 Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements for the application of Braille on signs, equipment and appliances, including Braille size parameters, the characteristics of materials used, and Practical application guide. This standard applies to Braille on signs, equipment and appliances.

2 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 2.1 Signage A sign that conveys information about the name, direction, location, method of use, safety, or behavior. 2.2 Equipment Non-moving devices or machines used in daily life in homes, offices or accessible public places. Examples.
