This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents"

This document replaces GB/T 3954-2014 "Circular Aluminum Rods for Electrical Engineering" and GB/T 29920-2013 "Rare Earth High Iron Aluminum Alloy Rods for Electrical Engineering".
Compared with GB/T 3954-2014 and GB/T 29920-2013, except for structural adjustment and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The classification has been changed (see Chapter 4, 3.1 and 3.5 of GB/T 3954-2014);
b) The chemical composition has been changed (see 5.1, 3.3 of GB/T 3954-2014);
c) The out-of-roundness of 8E76 and 8R76 brand products has been changed (see 5.2, 3.4 of GB/T 29920-2013);
d) Added the status, tensile strength and elongation after fracture of 1R60, 1B85 and 8A07 brand products (see 5.3);
e) Added the resistivity of 1R60, 1B85, 8A07 brand products (see 5.4);
f) Increase the heat resistance of 1R60 brand products (see 5.5);
g) The chemical analysis method has been changed (see 6.1, 4.1 of GB/T 3954-2014);
h) Changed the group batch requirements (see 7.2, 5.2 of GB/T 3954-2014);
i) Changes to inspection item regulations (see 7.3, 5.3 of GB/T 3954-2014);
j) Changed the sampling regulations (see 7.4, 5.4 of GB/T 3954-2014);
k) The determination of the test results of the chemical composition has been changed (see 7.5.1, 5.5.1 of GB/T 3954-2014).
