Cerium Magnesium Alloy
1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and quality certificates of cerium-magnesium alloys.
This standard applies to cerium-magnesium alloys produced by electrolysis, melt blending and reduction methods, and is mainly used as additives for high-performance rare earth magnesium alloys.

3 Technical requirements
3.1 Product Classification
The products are divided into six grades. CeMg-30A, CeMg-30B, CeMg-25A, CeMg-25B, CeMg-20A, CeMg-20B according to their chemical composition.
The expression method of the product brand shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 17803.
3.2 Chemical composition
The chemical composition of the product should meet the requirements of Table 1.If the buyer has special requirements, the supplier and the buyer can negotiate separately.
a The balance is expressed as the total amount minus the content of rare earth cerium and impurities.
b Rare earth impurities refer to all rare earth elements except Pm, Ce, and Sc.
